Monster Hunter Rise is a Nintendo Switch adventure action videogame produced and released by
Capcom. It is the Monster Hunter franchise's sixth core edition, and it was released globally in March
2021. In January 2022, a Microsoft Windows version was published. Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak,
an upgrade for both consoles, will be released in June 2022. The rise continues some of the new
norms founded in the universe while also bringing in new attributes and dynamics, such as the use
of wirebugs to navigate the universe and fasten and climb certain monsters, as well as a new exotic
animal named a Palamute that could be used to move throughout the map or into war. When it was
first launched, the game garnered mostly positive reviews, with experts appreciating the playability
and the extension of the concepts presented in The Universe. Since its launch, it has sold over 8
million units worldwide, making it the franchise's second most successful game. In contrast to the
divided areas of previous entries, Rise utilises the similar seamless map design featured in Monster
Hunter: World. Its settings, as hinted by their titles, are more centred on vertical direction than in
prior games, so the player is given new tools to assist in quick vertical scaling. Palamutes are a new
breed of companion creature in the "Rise" sequel. They can be ridden to fast explore the map
without depleting the player's stamina.

Palamutes can also easily climb cliffs and battle creatures with the team's other partner choice, the
cat-like Palicoes, who make a comeback from prior games. The Rise includes single-player, offline,
and network multiplayer modes for squads of up to four attackers. In single-player games, the gamer
can hunt with up to two palamute or palico friends in any configuration. Participants in the online
modes can join either the Palamute or the Palico. Before the usual haunts in the series, Rise
features Rampage, a strategy game in which gamers must protect the basic village from a swarm of
assaulting monsters. The players can establish siege weapons and command non-player avatars to
fight the monsters before and during the onslaught, while the players are involved in attacking the
creatures directly.
