Any gamer who follows the Esports scene for League of Legends must be familiar with one of the most popular & finest players ever, Søren Bjerg, better known as Bjergsen to many. Bjergsen has once again proved his prowess by coming out on top at the end of the Spring Split for League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) by maintaining a fantastic K/DA leaving all of his competitors behind to bite the dust.

After eight weeks of play for the Spring Split of LCS 2022, the K/DA leaderboard was topped by Team Liquid's midlaner. Having previously retired from the Esports scene for League of Legends in September 2020, the player positioned himself as the head coach for TSM through 2021, after which he returned to LoL esports with a vengeance.

Bjergsen clocked in a K/DA of 8.9 across the 18 games for the Spring Split. Not only did he set a new record in League of Legends esports, he also managed to break his own previous K/DA record of 8.5, made back in Spring Split of 2018. His K/DA of 8.9 is the highest ever in his nine years of career as a professional.

The reason why the professional player could set a new record by outperforming himself was because of his unrivalled ability to stay alive in all of the 18 matches in 2022 LCS's Spring Split. With having died only a meagre 21 times in 18 games, the professional player pulled off fantastic gameplays and maintained an average of 1.6 deaths per game, the lowest for any professionally qualified player for the LCS.

Bjergsen's KDA only fell short of Fnatic's ADC (Attack Damage Carry) Upset with his fascinating record-shattering mark of 16.5 - the best KDA in the world this spring. 

Team Liquid, along with Bjergsen shall return for their first playoff match in the LCS against Evil Geniuses on 3rd April.
