Staten mentioned a few new bits of content that we'll see when Season 2 premieres. Catalyst will be an Arena map, Land Grab will be a new mode, Last Spartan Standing will be a free-for-all elimination mode, Breaker will be a BTB map, and King of the Hill will return. That appears to be only the tip of the iceberg, especially if Shotty Snipers is still on the way. Lone Wolves is another alias for Halo Infinite Season 2. It is scheduled to start in May. At launch, Head of Creative Joseph Staten revealed further information on a range of new modes and maps. His statement, however, contained no information about Shotty Snipers.

Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4 all feature Shotty Snipers is a multiplayer game mode. There are no weapons on the map when players spawn in except for items and grenades. Instead, each player is given a shotgun and a sniper rifle, both of which have infinite ammo. The team with the most kills wins. There will be a new mode called Land Grab, as well as a BTB map named Breaker, the return of King of the Hill, a free-for-all elimination dubbed Last Spartan Standing, and an Arena map called Catalyst, according to Satan.

The map that players spawn in at the start of Shotty Snipers will be devoid of firearms, save for some items and grenades. Only a shotgun and a sniper rifle will be available to everyone. Both of these weapons will, thankfully, have infinite ammo. The match is won by the first team to reach 50 kills. Shotty Snipers' reappearance in Halo Infinite has been neither confirmed nor denied by 343 Industries. However, the developers have promised to reveal more details about Season 2 in the following weeks. With that in mind, fans of the game should expect additional information in April. After all, Season 2 will premiere on May 3rd.
