In July 2020 Death Stranding is hitting the PC.
This summer the Kojima Productions cargo delivery action game named Death Stranding is going to hit the PC. This is exciting, particularly for those who are Metal Gear Solid fans, they all are curious to know what series director Hideo Kojima would do outside of Konami and away from the series that made him famous. The answer, turns out, is a game about reconnecting a post-apocalyptic world with packages and jar babies. Here's everything you need to know about Death Stranding, including when you can expect to play it on PC.
When is Death Stranding's PC release date?
Death Stranding is coming to PC on July 14, 2020, on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The release was originally planned for June of 2020 but due to the pandemic, Coronavirus has upset the entire plan.
What is Death Stranding anyway?
Kojima Productions founder and Death Stranding director Hideo Kojima has a fondness for mystery and obfuscation, which can be looked by seeing the MGS5 trailers. True to form, this was the world's first look at Death Stranding, back at E3 2016:
These enigmatic trailers would proceed for a considerable length of time, yet in the end, we discovered that Death Stranding is an odd blend of climbing recreation, science fiction mystery, and secrecy activity. It's a third-individual action game in which you play as Sam Porter Bridges, an an independent deliveryman who traversed a combination of North American urban areas that are attempting to modify after the breakdown of civilization.
Making his activity increasingly troublesome are the ghostly spirits are known as BTs or stranded things that are associated with a progression of heavenly occasions have cleared out most of the populace, referred to on the whole as the Death Stranding.
The BTs roaming the continent make normal travel a death sentence. Trekking even a few miles can be a death sentence. That's where porters come in: delivery workers who take on the risk and evade BT detection.

Death Stranding will have Denuvo DRM on PC
When it comes to PC, the action game Death Stranding includes the notorious Denuvo anti-tamper software. Other games have had Denuvo unconcerned after launch when it's unavoidably cracked by aggravated pirates. That could happen with the Death Stranding. Or it may not. What we know for sure is that it will be packed in by June 2nd.
Will the Death Stranding sequel be a direct follow-up?
In an interview with Vulture, Kojima the director clearly stated a theoretical sequel to Death Stranding wouldn't be an undeviating follow-up. If Kojima Productions was to start work on a sequel, they prefer to start from zero. This is a different story altogether with a new cast of characters. Further, Kojima also added that “we would like to work with Norman Reedus again”.
It will be fun to speculate about what this means for a sequel, but it seems like Kojima himself is just unsure about the entire fact it would take.
Will Death Stranding have any PC-specific features?
Kojima Productions has announced a small number of features, including a new-fangled photo mode and a high frame rate. If the Death Stranding PC port is actually up to snuff, we are supposed to get more graphics options, prettier texture, and a wholly unlocked frame rate. The game is a stunner, even on a base PS4, so its illustration probable on PC is vast.
This is till date the update; stay tuned for more news on this.
