A new console generation is always a cause for huge excitement and with all the delays this time the hype for the PlayStation 5 was unreal.  Both consoles of the new generation, the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X will be releasing on Holiday 2020 despite the Covid-19 pandemic and the black lives matter protests, which is good news for gamers. This means of course that a new roster of games will be coming to the console generation though most of Sony’s upcoming major titles are still coming on the PS4 and could skip the PS5 at least at launch or may not get PS5 upgrades at all though that’s just speculation. After the recent live event on which we got to know what the PS5 will look like, it is still unclear exactly what titles will feature on its launch but Sony said they will reveal the launched title soon.

The PS5 features some exciting new technology, including an SSD that dramatically improves load times, among other elements that promise to improve the fidelity of games and new DualSense controllers as well. Surely it will provide us with more in-game immersion. Some of the technology may even exceed high-end PC capabilities.  The technology is being backed up with impressive software, including Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5. This new engine was demonstrated in May 2020 and features new lighting and geometry systems that can make games look more realistic than ever before.

The following list includes all the PS5 games confirmed and also the titles that have a high chance of being PS5 games. The console will play the majority of the PS4 games since it is backwards compatible with the PS4. However, new first-party PS5 games will be exclusive to the console rather than getting a cross-gen release so as to take full advantage of the new hardware.

The list for the confirmed games is as follows:
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
