New World has been quite a hit, and there are thousands of concurrent players. Now, it seems that the developers of New World have a lot planned for the game this year. A new roadmap has been unveiled which reveals all that is going to happen in New World this year. The roadmap categorizes it all into three seasons, Spring, Summer, and Autumn. However, it is also mentioned, that this may change, and also that this roadmap does not contain all the planned content. So, there can be more stuff than what is shown in the roadmap.

Spring

Firstly, in Spring, there is going to be Tempest’s Heart Expedition, the new weapon Blunderbuss, new 3v3 PvP arenas, and also a new PvP Reward Track. This is pretty much what the March update is bringing to the game, and it is already available in the Public Test Server. Not to mention, we already covered this in a different article.

Summer

Moving on to Summer, there is even more additional content coming to the game. This includes another new expedition, called Barnacles & Black Powder. Then, we will also see the implementation of Expedition Group Finder which will make it easy for players to find allies for expeditions. Furthermore, there will also be a special Summer Event.

Autumn

Now, when it comes to Autumn, there is a ton of stuff to cover. There will be a new territory, expedition, weapon, two new events, etc. The new territory will be called Brimstone Sands. As for the new weapon, it will be Greatsword. Now, when it comes to events, there will be two events in Autumn, one is the Nightvale Hallow event, and the other is the Turkulon 2022. The new Expedition will be The Ennead. And, there will also be Leaderboards added to the game in Autumn.

So, all in all, there is indeed a lot of new content that is getting added to New World this year. However, there is more, the developers also mention that there would be “new mutators, quests, encounters, ongoing improvements, balance tuning, and bug fixing”, apart from what we already mentioned above.
