The Potterhead were super excited when PlayStation revealed on September 2020 one of the greatest RPGs of the Wizarding community, ‘Hogwarts Legacy’ brought to us by Portkey Games and Avalanche software would soon come to take our breath away. Potterheads were patient enough to wait for about a year for the official reveal trailer, which did take our breath away with over 28 million views on the PlayStation YouTube channel. This 3 min long trailer did ‘Levitate’ our hopes and made us happy, but for how long?

With so much hope but no content or mention of the game whatsoever, even the “Pure-Bloods’ have lost their patience and have started to believe that it is nothing but a lost cause. Hogwarts Legacy fans have been pretty vocal about their frustration on social media.

What happen to hogwart legacy? Been two years already still no show.

Despite all the tweets and angry, disheartened posts it's undeniable that the trailer did give us a glimpse of some amazing experiences that we might be a part of once the game is out. We know from the trailer that the game is set in the late 1800s, which by the way is way before Harry was born. Which indicated that we are about to explore brand new stories and build a magical world of our own. The trailer did give us a glimpse of several things that might get the potter heads pretty excited. To begin with, the trailer shows a snippet that suggests we might be able to ride brooms, tame fantastic beasts and maybe even have our very own ‘Buckbeak’.

The RPG is likely to allow us to take wizarding classes such as ‘herbology’, ‘defence against dark arts ', ‘Potions’, etc. We see several dangerous creatures, and Dementors, of course.

While Hogwarts Legacy hasn't been officially cancelled, Avalanche Software might have done better by providing some details. Unfortunately, it's been a long time, and quite frequently leads to supposition, the majority of which is unwelcome.
