8th March is here, and with it, International Women's Day is also here. Today is the global day to celebrate all types of achievements, and success achieved by women. This day is not just about the celebration of their achievements but also acts as a catalyst for true gender equality, making it clear that women are no less than men across the globe. There was a time when women were bound to the four walls of the household. However, we have come a long way from there. Today, women are there in every field that you can think of. They are not only in political, economic, professional fields but in every type of field that you can think of. This also includes gaming and professional eSports.

In case you are not aware, there are a large number of females in the gaming industry today. This includes those that hold prominent positions in various game studios and organizations, gamers, and even professional eSports players. These women have all been excellent in their field, and we even have various prominent names in all of these fields. International Women's Day is the day when we celebrate all the success and achievements that these women have managed to obtain.

Even though we are in 2022, there is no denying that gender disparity still exists. It is truly unfortunate, however, that is the case. On the bright side, the situation has significantly improved now compared to how it was decades back. Now, women are at a far better place, and we sure do hope that it gets even better, and true gender equality no longer stays a dream.

International Women's Day is a specific date where we celebrate women and their success. However, there should not be a specific date for us to celebrate the success of women, and instead should be done every day.
