You all have heard of Halo Infinite. And, most of you have even played it. By far, Halo Infinite is not only the latest, but also the best, and largest Halo game. When it was released back in December 2021, we did not get campaign co-op and the Forge mode. It was announced that campaign co-op mode would be coming in Season 2, and Forge would be happening in Season 3. Now, Season 2 for Halo Infinite is starting on May 3, 2022. So, that is when the co-op campaign is also getting added to the game, right? Well, not really. Halo Infinite Season 2 is releasing on May 3, 2022. However, Halo Infinite’s campaign co-op is not releasing on the same day as the release of Season 2. So, when is it coming?

When is Co-Op Campaign For Halo Infinite Coming?

343 Industries has said that Halo Infinite’s Co-Op campaign is indeed arriving in Season 2, but, not on the release date of Season 2 which is May 3, 2022. Instead, it would be released later in the season. We do not know when as of now. All we know is that it is coming later in the season. 

Why is it not releasing on the start date of Season 2?

343 Industries does state that the team has been making great progress when it comes to the development of the co-op mode. However, it is going to take some time, and for that reason, they would not be able to release it on May 3, 2022, along with the start of the second season. However, it would not be very much late either, as we are still getting the co-op campaign for Halo Infinite in the second season itself. 

What about Forge?

From what 343 Industries has said this far, Forge is still set to release with Season 3 when it launches. Not to mention, the team is also planning on conducting various public flights or playtests to ensure that the creation is working just the way it should, and also gather valuable feedback.

If you were expecting Halo Infinite's co-op campaign to be released along with Season 2’s start on May 3, then you are up for some disappointment. However, it is still releasing in the same season itself, so not too bad, if you ask me.
