Rogue Company has officially begun recruiting players for its first mobile alpha test. Hi-Rez Studios, the studio behind the third-person tactical shooter, has announced that the title will now be available on mobile devices. With several PC and console multiplayer titles recently venturing into mobile, it is not unexpected to find another tactical shooter on the verge of releasing their own version.

Following an open beta test for players who joined in over the Verizon network a few months ago, the development team has now unveiled this technical test with an emphasis on iOS. Typically, technical tests are held close to the release of a game, thus Rogue Company could be available on mobile soon.

About Rogue Company Mobile

For those who are unfamiliar, Rogue Company is a competitive PVP third person hero shooter with a wide cast of Hero characters, each with distinct skills that may be exploited to gain an advantage over your opponents. It's normally hosted in a 4v4 setting, but there's also a 2v2 mode. Each round, you will purchase new weapons and charges for your skills, and rounds will end until the objective is completed or either team eliminates the other. The game has been available for some time on PC and consoles, and has enjoyed relative success over the year it has been available, so the mobile version may be even more populated than typical on launch, with an already established fanbase.
