So, just a few days back we got to know that a 2022 roadmap for Fallout 76 is inbound. And, now we have it already. It seems that there is indeed a lot that is coming to Appalachia in Fallout 76 this year. The roadmap does delve into a bit of detail on what we can expect.  Let us go over all of the roadmap’s content, and talk about what new is coming to the game this year.

Firstly, in Spring, Appalachia will be invaded by aliens, that are described as “otherwordly forces” in the main blog post. This first seasonal update would be named “Invaders From Beyond”, and the naming seems quite appropriate, given, that it is actually about an invasion by aliens. Anyway, there are also going to be all-new Public Events and “random encounters (of a third kind)”. Then, there will also be a new Fallout Worlds update that would add the ability to earn SCORE, and also the release of Season 8: A Better Life Underground!

Here is a developer gameplay video for Invaders From Beyond:

Up next, in Summer, it will be time to Test Your Metal.  The description in the blog states “Don” your best weapons, armor, and Perk Cards and “step into battle”. There will be more new Public Events, and one among these will be Test Your Metal. This is an arena mode where you will be fighting against lethal automatons. There would also upgrade to Fallout 1st scoreboard progression, and also a new Season.

Then comes the Fall, and now the players would be going beyond the borders of Appalachia in Expeditions: The Pitt. The players would be visiting post-nuclear Pittsburgh, and there they will be taking on new Missions, and also interacting with new NPCs (both allies and enemies). And, just as the others before, a new Season would also be coming with it.

Finally, in Winter, it will be time for the “Fizziest Show” on Earth to make its way to Appalachia. Nuka World on Tour will introduce a traveling roadshow that would make a stop in Appalachia, and also bring along with a new Season (obviously), Public Events, and a new region boss as well.

So, when it comes to new content, there is a lot that the Fallout 76 players can look forward to this year.,
