Steam Game Festival and EA Play Live are postponed New dates revealed

The Steam Game Festival is an event in which new information about upcoming games is revealed. We get time-limited demos, in-person experiences, a chance to communicate with the developers, and many more.

The Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition was originally planned to start on June 9, 2020 and end on June 14. However, today, Valve announced its delay, it has been postponed to start on June 16, 2020 and end on June 22. The official Steam Game Festival page has been updated with the new timings. https://store.steampowered.com/sale/gamefestival

EA also has a similar event that reveals new information about upcoming EA games called the EA Play Live. However, a new Tweet from the official Twitter page of Electronic Arts (@EA), confirms that it is also getting postponed. The EA Play Live 2020, that was supposed to be held on June 11, 2020 at 4PM PST. But, now https://twitter.com/EA/status/1269000943787540480/
It has now been postponed to June 18, 2020 4PM PDT / 7PM EDT. The official page for EA Play Live has also been updated with new dates and a countdown. 

Due to the recent tragic incident regarding the death of George Floyd, several gaming companies have been postponing their events. A few days ago, we heard about the Cyberpunk NightCity Wire getting delayed. Now, Steam and Electronic Arts seem to be doing the same.
