Krafton has finally announced the Battlegrounds Mobile India Esports 2022 roadmap. Krafton will host four major events in 2022, with a total prize pool of 6 crore INR. The registration date, format, and schedule for BMOC 2022 are also announced by the developers. 

Stage 1: Commencement of Registration

The first tournament of 2022, BMOC, will begin registration in the last week of February. In-game qualifiers will begin in March, with 512 teams qualifying for the first round. Only 256 of these 512 teams will advance to the second round, where they will compete for 64 spots in round three. These 64 teams will compete again in BMOC for the 24 spots in the inaugural Pro League (BMPS). Players can register from the official Battleground Mobile India website.

 

Stage 2: In-Game Qualifiers

The BMOC 2022 in-game qualifiers will take place in March 2022. The top 256 out of 512 teams from the in-game qualifiers will progress to the next round. Further, 256 teams will battle out for 64 spots in Round

3.

The top 64 teams will compete for 24 spots in BMPS Season 1. The top 24 teams will be invited to compete in BMPS Season 1. These 24 teams will compete against invited teams to qualify for the BMPS Season 1 League Stage. Invited teams criteria haven’t been decided yet but it is taken into consideration that Invited Teams will mostly consist on the basis of BGIS 2021 performance.

 

The top 24 Teams from BMOS will advance to BMPS S1

The BMPS will have two seasons, each with a massive prize pool of 2 crores. This will be the largest prize pool for a single esports event in India. The 24 qualified BMOC teams, along with a few invited teams, will compete in BMPS qualifiers, with only 24 moving on to the next stage. The second season of BGIS will begin shortly after the first season of BMPS. The BMPS S2 will be the season's final major tournament.
