Chivalry 2 has been around for a while now. The game was released almost a year ago, back in place in June last year. For those of you who are unaware of Chivalry 2, it is a sequel to the game that allows you to get the true medieval war experience, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. Anyway, the latest DLC for Chivalry 2, just got added to the game recently, and it has brought a lot to the table. This includes a new, large scale 64 player map, a new class, a new sword, and “weaponized bees” as well. Not to mention, it also has added the ability to steal pigs and peasants. And, the best part? House Aberfell is a free expansion, and thus all you would have to do to get it, is just have the game, and obviously, update it.

The new map that we get with the House Aberfell DLC is called The Raid on Aberfell. This map is built around the Highlands of Scotland. The map is described by the developers as the “ultimate medieval battlefield”. But, what makes it even crazier is that this map has support for 64 players as well. So, definitely stays true with the description of an ultimate medieval battlefield. But, that is not all. As we said before, there is a new class added to the game as well. It is the Druid class. Druid is equipped with a powerful melee weapon, a staff, and can be seen wearing unique animal-based headwear.

Then, there is the new highland sword as well. And, it is a massive sword. But, it can cut multiple players, so it is amazing, well that is if you like extra gore. But, if you do not like gore, why the hell would you play Chivalry 2 anyway, right? Anyway, talking of weapons, there are also bees. How are bees related to weapons? Well, in Chivalry 2, now there will be various beehives on the battlefield that can be picked and thrown towards the enemies. And, yes it will cause damage. Not to mention, there are also opportunities to steal pigs now. Why would you do that? Well, that would allow you to deny your opponents of food. And, you can also do the same with the peasants, and thus reduce the labor force of your opponents.

So, yes there is a lot going on with the new DLC it seems. And, if you play Chivalry 2, then it seems that there is a lot more that you can do in the game now, apart from slashing through your enemies and decapitating their heads. But, that is something which you would still do anyway right?
