Tom Clancy's The Division series started off almost six years ago at this point, back in 2016 March with the first Division game. And, the last Division game that we got was The Division 2, but even that was three years ago. Now, last year in May, The Division Heartland was announced. This will be a spin-off in The Division universe, and not be directly related to the previous The Division games. Anyway, other than that, no official information was announced about the upcoming The Division title. However, now, thanks to a new leak lot of new information has surfaced. Not only regarding The Division Heartland, but also a lot regarding Ubisoft’s upcoming plans with the franchise in general.

This new leak comes from Xfire’s Tom Henderson and it reveals a lot. According to his leaks, Heartland will be having two primary game modes. One of them is the PvE mode Excursion, and the other one is a PvPvE mode called Storm. Storm is actually the main mode, and according to the leak, it seems like it will be like Escape From Tarkov in terms of the gameplay. The map in which this mode would take place is called Silver Creek. Players would have a similar experience here as they have in othe battle royale games. Area of the maps will be getting contaminated, players would be required to craft and use masks to survive. And, here you would have to loot weapons, survive, and finally extract. As for the other mode, Excursion,  the description for it states "Explore alongside other friendly agents to prepare the world for the coming storm".

There will be different classes of characters as well. There would be one called Weapon Expert, then there is the Medic, and finally we have the Survivalist. Each of these classes have unique traits, the weapon expert can mark enemies and has armour kit, the Medic just as the name suggest can restore health when in cover, and also heal allies. And, the Survivalist can detect loot.
