Valorant New Game Mode Will Resemble Call of Duty and Halo Infinite, Know Expected Release Date

Valorant is planning to release yet another new game mode in the game's upcoming updates. This is expected to be another entertaining game mode to play alongside Snowball Fight, Replication, and Escalation. The new game mode, according to the data miners, would revolve around the theme of capturing points with both teams competing for the best score. Players have already commented on this Upcoming Valorant game mode with some noticing similarities to popular game modes in other games.

According to the leaks "Teams will compete by grabbing points with both teams competing for the highest score,". These descriptions matches the Control / Capture the Flag game mode seen in well-known first-person shooter games like Halo, Overwatch, Call of Duty, and others. It's unclear whether the new Control-style game mode will join the Unrated, Competitive, and Spike Rush playlists. Instead, it's very likely that it will be added to the rotational queue alongside Snowball Fight, Replication, and Escalation Game.

This mode is very popular in games like Call of Duty and Halo Infinite where the team that manages to capture and hold specific areas for longer durations gets rewarded with more points. You can win by achieving the target score or by collecting as many points as possible before the time runs out. According to players, this new game mode is Valorant highly resembles the Domination mode from Call of Duty. It's unknown how well this will translate to VALORANT, but it could be a fun casual mode to play with friends. The potential mode might be included in a rotation of limited-time modes to create variety, or it could only emerge for a short period.
 
Expected Launch Date for New Valorant Game Mode

There is currently no word on when the new game mode in Valorant will be published, although an official announcement could come in the following Act. With the current Act concluding in March 2022, the new Capture The Flag / Control game mode might be seen in Valorant Episode 4 Act 2.
