Cyberpunk 2077 NightCity Wire postponed

On May 5, 2020, the official Twitter handle of Cyberpunk 2077, @CyberpunkGame tweeted about an upcoming event called the Night City Wire. The only information we were provided with about the event, was the date. It was going to be held on June 11, 2020. Cyberpunk 2077 is supposed to be released for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on September 17, 2020. So, we expected that this event would most certainly reveal some new gameplay and some more information regarding the game. Cyberpunk 2077 is an action-adventure open world game developed by CD Projekt Red and is undoubtedly one of the most hyped games of 2020. So, the news of this upcoming event certainly excited many.

However, on June 2, the @CyberpunkGame tweeted something very disappointing. The NightCity Wire event got postponed to 25th June. The tweet reads “We decided to move Night City Wire to Jun 25th. We still look forward to sharing new information about CP’77, but more important discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard. We wholeheartedly stand against racism, intolerance and violence. Black Lives Matter.”.

So, yes, the NightCity Wire is postponed to June 25, 2020, and no information regarding the timing of the event has been announced.This tweet disappointed all those who were very much hyped for this upcoming event.
