Team Spirit came out on top after an incredible run through the lower bracket. They won The International 10 and took home the Aegis of Champions.

Team Spirit had a rocky start. They finished fourth in group B and were due to play Invictus Gaming in the Upper Bracket's opening match. They were relegated to the lower tier after a brave attempt and a 1-2 loss. Nobody expected this to be the start of one of the greatest lower bracket runs in professional Dota 2 history.

After dropping to the lower bracket, they went on to 2-0 both Fnatic and OG, securing a match against Virtus.Pro, which they also won 2-1. Then came their vengeance against Invictus Gaming, which they swept in a 2-0 triumph. They looked to PSG.LGD to win it all after defeating Team Secret in the Lower Bracket final.

Team Spirit held off PSG after a strong start. LGD struggled to acclimate to Spirit's playstyle in the first two games, as they scaled effectively and landed comfy heroes. It was all level after a slugfest in game 3 and a quick second game in which LGD controlled. Team Spirit's team fighting skills in the last game eclipsed LGD's individual lead and propelled them to win.
