Developer CD Projekt Red has made the difficult decision to delay the Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire livestream to 25th June in support of the current Black Lives Matter protests currently taking place across the US. Originally scheduled for next Thursday, we will now have to wait until the end of the month for more news, information, and gameplay concerning Cyberpunk 2077. The event Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire was planned to be part of IGN’s Summer Of Gaming event. However, IGN has also pushed back the event to June 8 “out of respect and in support of those rightfully demanding justice and change across the United Stated and the world”.
Announced in a tweet, CD Projekt Red said: "We decided to move Night City Wire to Jun 25th. We still look forward to sharing new information about CP’77, but more important discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard. We wholeheartedly stand against racism, intolerance and violence. Black Lives Matter." The publisher has joined Sony in pushing back its event so that more important voices can be heard during these difficult times. Cyberpunk 2077 is currently scheduled to launch on PlayStation 4 on 17th September 2020. so, fans will be waiting a little bit longer to see what's in store.
