Battlefield 2042 has had a number of technical test previews so far, however, this one is going to be the first time where it will be open to all players irrespective of the platforms they are on. And, EA and DICE have now announced all the details for this open beta regarding the timing, and the pre-load for it.

So, let’s get over it, after all, that is what most of you are here for right? When does it start? Well, the open beta for Battlefield 2042 will be going live on October 8 at 12 AM PDT or 3 AM EDT or 8 AM BST on all the platforms out there. And, when does it start in India then? Well, in IST this translates to 12:30 PM on the same date. And, when can you start pre-loading the beta? Well, that will be starting three days prior to the start of the beta. And, as for the timings, it is the same as the open beta timings. The difference is just in the date. But, if you are someone who has pre-ordered the game, or have an EA Play subscription, then you will be able to start playing a lot earlier. For you, the beta would be going live two days prior, so on October 6 at around 12:30 PM IST, you can start playing the Battlefield 2042 Beta, if you have pre-ordered the game, or have an EA Play subscription.

So, for all those who have been waiting for this long to get a chance to play Battlefield 2042, it is finally here. Well, almost here that is. There are still three days or so for you to start playing the beta, that is in case you have not pre-ordered, or have an EA Play subscription. If you have those, then you can start playing the beta tomorrow at 12:30 PM IST itself. You can start pre-loading right now as you are reading this article. You would need around 100GB of free space on your storage device for the game to be installed.
