Battlefield 2042 Open Beta Starts Soon

Battlefield games have always been pretty popular, and the newest one in the series, Battlefield 2042 is set to release in November 19, 2021. Initially, it was set to release earlier in October, but, now it has been delayed. Anyway, for those of you are wanting to get your hands on the game soon, it seems that opportunity is going to be there next week. Battlefield 2042 open beta is starting on October 8, 2021. And, it will be available on all the platforms. However, if you are a EA Play member, or have pre-ordered the game, then you can start playing the beta on October 6, 2021. So, if you are looking to play as soon as you can, and you are fine with paying for it, then getting the EA Play subscription, can be a good decision. That is, only if you have no pre-ordered it, if you have then there is no need to do that, well, at least not for the early access to the beta that is.

But, what about the content that would be available in the beta? Well, this open beta will include the Conquest game mode. Those of you who have played Battlefield games before would know what this is. For those of you who are unaware, Conquest is a game mode where large-scale maps are involved, and there are 128 players playing at the same time, with 64 on each side. The players will have to fight against the other team, and to control various objectives. In this beta, players will be able to play on maps set in Kourou, French Guiana. And, as for the specialists that are available in the open beta, it will be Boris, Casper, Falck, and Mackay. So, there are four choices in terms of the specialist you get to choose.

You can start pre-loading the Battlefield 2042 Beta on October 5 itself. The first accessible beta, which is for those who pre-ordered the game, or have EA Play, will be able to start playing it from 12 AM PT or 3 AM ET on October 6. And, as for all the other players who have not pre-ordered the game, or the EA Play subscription, then, it will be starting from the same timing, but on October 8. However, the beta will be ending on October 10. So, there will be two less number of days for you to enjoy the game. Also, here are the system requirements for those of you wondering if your PC is capable enough to play it.
