Guy "Dr Disrespect" Beahm, a YouTube personality, claims to have "inside information" concerning a Halo Infinite 300-player battle royale game. Is this a fact or cap?

Guy "Dr Disrespect" Beahm, a popular YouTube streamer, has resurrected rumours that 343 Industries is working on a battle royale mode for Halo Infinite. During a recent Twitch show with ZLaner and TimTheTatman, the top honcho of the Champion's Club teased that he had "inside information" on a 300-player battle royale mode. His fellow streamers, understandably, were sceptical of the Doc's assertions.

Is battle royale mode coming to Halo Infinite?
During ZLaner's Twitch live show on September 23rd, Dr Disrespect hinted that he had "inside information" that 343 Industries was working on a battle royale option for Halo Infinite. "I'm hoping to jump right into a battle royale game too guy, it's going to be a lot of fun," the Champions Club leader stated.

TimTheTatman was clearly not convinced by the Doc and burst out laughing, saying: "You keep  f***ing hoping. No way, man. There's no way."

The Doc went on to describe what his sources had informed him. "300 people, set loop, power weapons on the map, and the map is created around these powerful weapons, as well as locales and points of interest, according to what I've heard. All of this is confidential information that I am receiving "Dr Disrespect asserted himself.

"It'll purportedly feel fantastic as if it's been super-optimized. They're going to knock it out of the park if this first technical Alpha test is anything like that "Added he. TimTheTatman didn't believe the Doc and called him a liar, and we're not sure if we believe him either.
Dr Disrespect is known for making bizarre things in jest, so even if it were genuine, we wouldn't trust him at first.

So, the question is if this is a rumour or a fact. We'll leave it up to you to determine whether you believe the Doc or not. 343 Industries has yet to confirm (or deny) the existence of a battle royale mode in Halo Infinite, which will be released on consoles on November 15th.
