Gran Turismo 7's campaign mode, according to developer Polyphony Digital and publisher Sony in a blog post, requires an active internet connection. In this game mode, what can players expect?
There will be one campaign in GT simulation mode in Gran Turismo 7, and the player will need to obtain several virtual driving licenses in order to be invited to racing events. The new racing simulation will launch on the Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 on March 4th, 2022, as confirmed by the developer Polyphony Digital at the last Playstation Showcase. Gran Turismo 7 will not be available on PC. According to Sony's official blog article, the GT simulation mode will return, but gamers will need to have an active online connection.

As a reward for participating in a contested event, you can earn various in-game rewards, like as vehicles, in the GT Café. Trophies are acquired and used to unlock new racetracks. Gran Turismo 7's main goal is, of course, to gather as many cars as possible. You can tune your acquired vehicle in the GT Auto area. In the levels basic, city, sports, racing, and extreme, each car has different components. The performance points of the cars can also be seen in the technical data, in addition to the direct effects of the corresponding component. Additionally, GT Auto can do any necessary oil changes or repairs.

You can make your own vehicle designs in the Livery Editor and share them with other players. It is possible to set up your mobile pedestal and snap a photo in Scapes. This allows you to take photos in 43 different nations. You may even activate extended color space HDR for the photos while using an HDR screen. All of these locations in GT Home require an active internet connection. Trail Mountain and High-Speed Ring, two classic Gran Turismo tracks, can also only be played with a Playstation Network connection. Different times of day and weather conditions will be available in Gran Turismo 7.
