Resident Evil games are very much popular, and the last RE game we got was Resident Evil Village that got released this year itself in May. Anyway, now it seems that Capcom is planning on announcing another Resident Evil game. However, this time instead of being a fresh new game, it will be a remake. The remake will be of Resident Evil 4, and chances are that it will be announced in the Gamescom live stream that will be taking place on August 24, 2021.

Resident Evil 3 Remake came out last year, and it was quite successful. So, if Capcom is planning on bringing a remaster for another of its old RE games then that is something that definitely makes a lot of sense. But, why are we suddenly thinking about it? Well, all of it is due to official Resident Evil Twitter handle’s recent tweet which clearly indicates at a Resident Evil 4 Remake. Check out the tweet for yourself below:

4
Itchy.
Tasty.

— Resident Evil (@RE_Games) August 22, 2021

The tweet from the RE Twitter account states two words and one number. The words are itchy, and tasty, and as for the number, it is the number four. Itchy and tasty is a clear reference to Keeper’s Diary log of Resident Evil 1. The number four, however, is the biggest giveaway that it is none other than Resident Evil 4, and since the game is already out for years, it is definitely indicating a remake.

The Resident Evil franchise has always been popular. So, fans would definitely not hate the idea of getting a remake for Resident Evil 4. After all, the fans really enjoyed Resident Evil 3, so, there is no reason to believe that they would not have the same reaction towards Resident  Evil 4. Not to mention, RE 4 is one of the best RE games of the series.
