You, The Call Of Duty fans- Your wait is now over!
Gear up to venture through the World War 2 battlefield as the next entry in the franchise is called Call of
Duty: Vanguard, according to leaked images. The images are accessed via data mining of the latest Call
of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update. It is currently in development by the Sledgehammer Games. Some
of the data miners who leaked the images have met with copyright takedown notices, forcing them to be
removed.
The new leaked cutscene, which added to the buzz, shows a typical victory cutscene where seemingly not
all players make it into the helicopter. The last team member is instead shot and left on the ground while
the chopper takes off. This is when the camera cuts to a woman in an Old Russian military uniform, with
a USSR side cap and a sniper rifle, the barrel of which is still smoking. The leaked images also mention
three bundles for Vanguard: Standard, Cross-Gen, and Ultimate. These bundles are similar to what was
offered last year for the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Among the leaked images, one also shows
characters, operator skins, and weapons for Warzone.
The leaked images show a squad of four soldiers irregularly equipped. They seem to be fighting amongst
a lot of explosions in the background. Amidst the soldiers, one looks like holding a British Lee Enfield
rifle and another Soviet Mosin M1891/30 rifle with a scope. The two other soldiers in the background of
one image are distinctly equipped. Their weapons though blurry, appear to be wearing a uniform similar
to a British Commonwealth New Zealand or Australian soldier. At the same time, the other one is
wearing an essential black or brown leather jacket.
As per the leaked menu image, these soldiers might be Polina, the sniper, Lucas, possibly the New
Zealander, and Wade, likely the jacket-wearing one. They are seen using a mix of modern plus World
War 2 weapons. It seems heavily likely that the “Cross-Gen” bundle will allow the players to jump from
the game’s PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions to the current-gen PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X
editions, packing a wacko experience for the shooter game.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is rumored to be revealed on August 19. But it was until recently, the Call of
Duty publisher Activision Blizzard had been subjected to severe allegations of toxic workplace
environment with charges of less pay to women, sexual harassment, according to the lawsuit filed from
California’s Legal Departments July. Amidst the case, workers too have walked out and have called for a
significant reformation within the company.
So spunky players stay updated till it releases!
