Fallout 76 has had several updates so far. The Brotherhood of Steel has definitely made the game more interesting with its unique plot. Now, the latest update for Fallout 76: Steel Reign finally brings an end to the long storyline for Brotherhood of Steel.

However, with Update 28, Steel Reign is not only bringing an end to the Brotherhood of Steel storyline, but is also introducing legendary crafting, the return of K.D. Inkwell in Season 5, wallet upgrades, and a brand new Gold Bullion Vendor named Minerva. So, yes there is quite a bit of stuff that is now in the game. Granted with this much new content, there is bound to be a large update. The download size for this patch ranges from 7.1 GB for Steam all the way to 15.9 GB for Microsoft Store. As for the consoles, the download size is around 15 GB. For PC, Steam has the smallest download size, followed by Bethesda.net at 8.7 GB, and Microsoft Store at 15.9 GB.

To bring an end to the Brotherhood of Steel storyline, there are also lots of new quests, locations, rewards, and a lot more! The new questline for the conclusion of Brotherhood of Steel is only available to players above level 20 that have also completed the “The Best Defense”. If a player meets these two criteria, then a new quest would appear under the name “A Knights Penance”. This new quest will lead the players to speak with Russell Dorsey in Fort Atlas. Once the players do it, the new questline would get started and finish it would award the players with multiple rewards.

Then, there is going to be the new legendary crafting system. Using it players can upgrade regular items to Legendary, or even re roll the stats of the existing legendary items. Furthermore, it can also upgrade or downgrade the star rating of the legendary items. Also, there are also some new attributes with balance changes on existing attributes. So, to sum it up, there is going to be three options. Upgrade, Downgrade, and Re-roll!

The Wallet Upgrades, just as it sounds like will be increasing the limit of max cap limit, daily vendor limit for Gold Bullion, and also the limit of Scrip. Cap limit has been increased from 30,000 to 40,000. The same thing has happened for the player cap of Gold Bullion and Scrip. Now, the maximum Gold Bullion players can store is increased from 5,000 to 10,000 and the limit for Scrip has gone up from 1,000 to 5,000. The vendor Gold bullion limit is increased from 200 to 400, and Scrip limit has been increased 150 to 300.

Then, there is also the new vendor, Minerva. This vendor will only appear in two special events, Minerva’s Emporium and Minerva’s Big Sale. Her offerings would change in regular intervals. But, one of the items that she will be selling is Gold Bullion Plans. Gold Bullion Plans are only available from other Gold Bullion Vendors, or by completing Daily Ops. And, she is offering some lucrative discounts on these as well.

Other than that there is also a lot of balancing changes, bug fixes, etc. To check all of that, do head over to the official patch notes by clicking here.
