Mortal Kombat 11 has done a lot ever since its release in the year 2019 April.  It is post-release that this
game saw an addition of 12 news characters and offered entertainment to gaming fans. However, all good
things come to an end and that has just been the case for this game. It is now down curtains for this game
and the confirmation came from none other than NetherRealm studios. It is via a Twitter update they
indicated it and said that it is now time to move on. They declared that no further content will be
developed for the game right now.
This statement does not mean that they are bowing out of the gaming world and they have more plans in
store. We admit that this news update is a bit negative for Mortal Kombat 11 fans, but we are sure that
they have something new to offer for gaming fans. They gave no indications of the plans but we guess
that in the next few days, the gaming world could be hearing about Injustice 3.
Plenty of fans are familiar with the Injustice name but for fans who are first hearing this name, we would
like to say that it is a fighting game. This new game on offer from the studio should have plenty of
similarities to Mortal Kombat. There is however some difference and we could start by saying that it
should be a single player. There should also be some focus on DC Comics characters in the game.
Injustice 2 was a lavishly produced game and a much better offering than the standard fare of a Batman
    vs. Superman movie or game.
There are some strong reasons for us to take the name of Injustice 3 as the next offering. It was sometime
in August 2020 that an unofficial teaser surfaced. There were hopes that the game might be unveiled at
the next Fandome event, but it did not happen. There are also rumors that the studio is also working on a
marvel fighting game. The rumors have surfaced with a probability that the creator of Mortal Kombat Ed
Boon appeared to play up in May. This seems unlikely but the trend in the gaming around is about
universe-spanning fighting games and this is the reason for us to believe that the launch of Injustice 3 is
on the agenda. It should be exciting for gaming fans.
