Scarlet Nexus has just seen a release and in this short span, it has aroused significant interest among fans.
It tells a story of a special world where humans have developed psionic powers. These powers boost up
the ability to connect minds. It is a foregone conclusion that the inclusion of this technology has
transformed lives but things are not so rosy for humanity. The population here has much to fear and that is
from grotesque brain-consuming monsters. There is a mysterious belt surrounding the planet and that is
where the monsters are coming from. These monsters have destructive impulses and that is causing much
of the damage. Many areas have been rendered inhabitable and that has forced humans to move into the
cities. In the cities, humans are under the protection of a group by the name of Other Suppression Forces
who are an army of elite psionics. They have the training to handle other attacks.
The lead characters here are Yuito and Kasane. They are two recruits of the OSF group and fans will find
that they rarely get time to settle down. There are constant attacks and they quickly find their skills being
put to a hard test. A mission could always go wary and that is when they will be forced to take sides in the
quest to expose the truth lying under the surface. It should be disturbing to hear for fans.
Participants of the game can choose from any of the above two names mentioned as a playable character.
Both have some special qualities and let us start with Yuito. We would describe this character as a fairly
action-game swordsman. The other character is Kasane and this character is more of a technical fighter
and she battles with the help of her ranged draggers.  These characters have inbuilt combo attacks,
jumping strikes, dodges--the usual array of 3D combat maneuvers. The options at their disposal are more
and we found that they have the scope to use psychokinetic powers. The combat is also unique and by
holding R2 they have the power to grab a backward object and directly slam it to the foe.
Fans who play this game could have some complaints about combat. As you play as Kasane there could
be trouble during chaining attacks together. However, there is marked improvement with the addition of
SAS systems. It is an arrangement that allows playable characters to connect brains with other squad
members. The story could be some bit of a mess, but there is fun, action and you will love it.
