There is now a new free game on the Epic Games Store: Frostpunk. If you have an Epic account, you can log in immediately and download the strategy game from the store. Frostpunk was released a good three years ago and was able to convince many critics with its unique game design. If you are into real-time strategy anyway, you shouldn't think twice, but players with different tastes could also enjoy the post-apocalypse in the snow desert. What is frost punk? In Frostpunk you build a city around your heater core in real-time. The special thing about it: There are no opponents in the classic sense. Instead, your enemies are political opponents, religious fanatics, the discontent of the people, the working conditions in the refineries and, above all, the omnipresent cold. It's a balancing act to keep tapping new resources at the same time to heat the homes and factories, have scouts search for survivors and keep all of your followers happy. Ultimately, you will have to make difficult decisions that will sooner or later also cost you lives. Lots of great extensions There are now three expansions for Frostpunk, all of which offer a completely new gaming experience. "The Last Autumn", "On the Edge" and "The Rifts" are currently reduced in the Epic Games Store. Of course, you can also get the three add-ons as a season pass as a package. Definitely worth it. Frostpunk is available for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. There are even more interesting news, pictures and videos about Frostpunk on our informative topic page.
