1. Global Rules

1.1. General

The league administration has the right to decide outside or even against the rulebook in special cases to guarantee fair play.

1.2. Code of Conduct

Every participant has to behave with respect towards the representatives of the LGN, partners and other players. The participants are requested to represent esports,  LGN, and their Sponsors honorably. This applies to behavior in-game and also in chats, messengers, comments and other media. We expect players to conduct themselves according to the following values:

  • Compassion: treat others as you would be treated.

  • Integrity: Be honest, be committed, play fair.

  • Respect: Show respect to all other humans, including teammates, competitors, and event staff.

  • Courage: be courageous in competition and in standing up for what is right.

Participants must not engage in harassment or hate speech in any form. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Hate speech, offensive behavior, or verbal abuse related to sex, gender identity, and expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, or religion.

  • Stalking or intimidation (physically or online).

  • Spamming, raiding, hijacking, or inciting disruption of streams or social media.

  • Posting or threatening to post other people’s personally identifying information (“doxing”).

  • Unwelcome sexual attention. This includes unwelcome sexualized comments, jokes, and sexual advances.

  • Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.

1.2.1. Language

The official language of this national section is English. All players should be able to communicate in English and to do so.

2.1. Deception

The attempt to deceive admins or other players with wrong or fake statements, information or data will not be tolerated

3.1.1. Multi accounts

Each player in the LGN must only have one account! If a player can not access his account and then creates a new one, then he/she must write a support ticket explaining in detail the reason for not being. 

Selection Process

  • A total of 32 teams will take part in this tournament. It will be based on a first come first serve basis

  • Team captains are required to update the admin beforehand and provide full details on players and Stand-ins. This includes full name, in-game nickname, and steam account.

  • Each team consists of 5 players and 1 stand-in player but cannot be an existing player in the tournament. (even if that player was eliminated in an earlier stage)

  •  Tournament draw is done randomly by the system.

Bracket Rules:

  • It’s a knockout tournament and the Finals which will be run as a best of 3 

Start and End Date:

  • The tournament will run from for the set amount of days posted on the tournament page.

Starting Match:

  • All teams are expected to be there and confirm their attendance preferably 60 minutes before the start of the match.

Recording Scores:

  • Score from all matches will be recorded by LGN admins. In the case of a tournament being Livestream, semifinals, finals will be broadcasted with live commentary in the English language.

Schedule Changes:

  • Game dates are subject to change if the situation and time table allows it.

  • Any team with a problem regarding the date change will need to provide a valid and reasonable excuse to demand a date change.

Breach of Rules:

  • Foul language, offensive, and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated from any player and will result in the following:

    • First Warning that the team captain has to acknowledge

    • Second Warning will lead to forfeiting the game

    • Third Warning will lead to disqualification from the tournament

  • Spectating the game will be set to lobby Only and in the case stream is availableDisconnect/connection issues:

  • All games are to be played on Luxembourg servers by default unless stated otherwise.

  • Teams with mutual agreement to play on a different server are allowed to do so.

  • In case of any disconnects, both teams will need to pause the game until the player has reconnected.

  • Pauses need to be justified immediately to the other team. Disruptive pauses will be flagged and closely monitored.

  • Some situations maybe require a last resort of using “Load Game”, this needs an admin’s approval.

Game Admin

  • In case of any dispute regarding any issue, the final decision will be made by the admin.

  • Game Admin has the power to refute any rule depending on the situation at hand.
