Google Stadia is Getting 5 New Games, but honestly, it's not enough

Don't get too excited!

Five new games have been announced for Google Stadia, the streaming game platform from the search engine giant. The five new games are Panzer Dragoon Remake, Serious Sam Collection, Spitlings, Lost Words: Beyond the Page and Stacks on Stacks (on Stacks). The latter three will release first on Stadia. Only Lost Words was given a release date, and it will release in Spring 2020.

Panzer Dragoon Remake revives the cult-favorite on-rails Sega Saturn shooter with better and modern graphics. The Serious Sam collection brings the offbeat FPS trilogy of Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter and Serious Sam 3: BFE.

The other three games are new titles that will be released on Stadia. Stacks on Stacks is a 3D tower building game. Lost Words is a 2D puzzle-platformer set in a young writer's mind. Spitlings is a four-player hardcore 2D arcade-style game which is a little hard to explain. So, go watch the trailer, maybe?

They are all nice games but if you ask us Stadia could have done a little more. This year people are waiting for Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil 3 remake, Final Fantasy 7 remake, and only one of those are coming to the streaming platform. So, in terms of impact, the platform obviously needs to step it up.
