According to peak viewership, YouTube sensation Minato Aqua was the most well-liked female streamer in Q3 2024. According to a new survey, most of the female streamers who had the most views during this time were active on YouTube instead than Twitch.
A third-party tracker that frequently reports on trends in the streaming sector, Streams Charts, is the source of this data. According to the analytics company's findings, female streaming has been dominated by VTuber identities in recent years.
According to the most recent report from Streams Charts, Virtual YouTubers made up more than half of the top 10 most popular female streamers in Q3 2024 based on peak concurrent viewing statistics, suggesting that this trend isn't slowing down. Minato Aqua, a "virtual maid" whose Aqua Ch. channel reached a peak of 735,000 views during the observed period—more than the following five streamers combined—tops the company's most recent list.
Out of the recently released list, only two content creators contradict this tendency. One of these is the Puerto Rican streamer Alondrissa, who came in third place with 151,000 peak concurrent viewers. The other is Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa, a Twitch celebrity who peaked at 121,000 viewers and was ranked sixth in the third quarter of 2024. Because Amouranth was active for more than 1,221 hours during the measured time, she is also the most prolific of the top 10 content creators on the Streams Charts. Within just three months, that amounts to around 51 days of airtime. In Q3, the remaining ten most popular streams totaled 1,650 hours.
Not only do virtual personas dominate the recently shared chart, but every single one in the top 10 is a Hololive VTuber. This indicates that the Tokyo-based talent agency's content development activities are at their very best right now and is just another indication of how far it has come since its founding in 2016. Although one of its English channels, Koseki Bijou, placed 10th with a concurrent audience peak of 80,000, Hololive's Japanese branch remains the most successful of the group.
In the long run, Usada Pekora of Hololive continues to top the list of female streamers with the most views in 2024. Since the beginning of the year, her YouTube channel has received over 26 million hours of viewing time, and it appears that it will continue to increase in the near future.
