DreamLeague Season 24 is an Europe based online Dota 2 tournament which is organised by ESL Gaming. The tournament started on 27th october and will conclude on 10th November 2024. The event offers a substantial prize pool of $1,000,000 USD and 16 teams are participating in it. Lets go through the details of this event.

Format

There are six invited teams. Two teams are each from Western Europe, Eastern Europe and South America and one team are each from MESWA, China, Southeast Asia and North America.

Group Stage 1 will be held from 27th to 30th October, 2024.There will be two single round-robin groups of eight teams each. The series consist of two games.The top four teams from each group will advance to group stage 2 and the remaining teams will be eliminated.

Group Stage 2 will be held from  1st to 7th November, 2024. There will be one single round-robin group of eight teams. All matches will be played in best of three series. Top two teams will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs. The 3rd and 4th place teams will advance to the lower bracket of the playoffs. The remaining teams will be eliminated.

Playoffs will be held from 9th to 10th November, 2024 and double-elimination bracket will be applicable. All matches except Grand Final will be played in best of three series. The Grand Final will be played in best of five series.

Prize Pool

The event boasts a substantial prize pool of $1,000,000 USD with the following distribution:

The champion will take home $300,000.
The team securing the second place will take home $175,000.
The third place holder will receive $120,000.
The fourth place holder will take home $85,000.
