Crow Country, a contemporary survival horror game, recently sold over 100,000 copies, marking an amazing milestone, according to the game's developer. The majority of Crow Country's sales seem to have come from Steam, with the PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and the newly launched PS4 version accounting for the remaining sales figures.

A government agent is tasked with solving a mystery involving an abandoned amusement park in Crow Country, a tribute to classic survival horror that was greatly influenced by films like Silent Hill and the original Resident Evil series. As players traverse the fixed-camera surroundings, scrounge for supplies, and solve puzzles reminiscent of the games that inspired it, they will come upon a number of eerie foes.

Crow Country's developer, SFB Games, a small independent firm best known for their work on the Nintendo Switch exclusive Snipperclips, claims that in addition to receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews from both fans and critics, the game sold 100,000 copies. Since the game is now accessible on all contemporary platforms, including last-generation consoles, sales figures are probably going to keep rising as long as there is a strong desire for survival horror games.

Tom Vian, a co-founder of SFB Games, discussed Crow Country's sales success and expressed his satisfaction that so many people can recognize the effort he and the firm put into creating it. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the fans who have showered the game with accolades in the six months since its release, adding that the timing couldn't be better, especially since Halloween is coming up so soon.

The developer noted that Crow Country's recent release on the Nintendo Switch, which reached a wider audience months after the first Steam and console versions were released, was the game's catalyst for surpassing 100,000 copies. SFB Games and Fangamer are working together to produce exclusive products for Crow Country in tandem with its incredible sales. It appears that this merchandise will include t-shirts, plush toys, and physical copies of the game, which will go on sale on 29th October.

Regarding Crow Country's future, it seems that SFB Games is concentrating on next projects rather than plans for more ports or follow-up features. However, with the wildly popular Silent Hill 2 remake and the recent PS5 re-release of the PS2 cult classic Siren, survival horror enthusiasts have no shortage of games to play in the interim.
