The most recent topographic data for Genshin Impact identify the area thought to be the Mare Jivari as well as the future Natlan zones. Only Mondstadt and Liyue were available to gamers when Genshin Impact first premiered on 28th september, 2020. Its frontiers continued to extend in all directions, and over its existence it annexed Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, and Natlan. Players can now explore the territories inhabited by the People of the Springs, Scions of the Canopy, and Children of Echoes thanks to the addition of the first zone of Natlan in version 5.0.

Natlan in Genshin Impact will get its next map expansion in Version 5.2, which will include the Flower-Feather Clan's settlement and the ruins of the Eternal Empire, Ochkanatlan. As befits the character, Chasca will become a playable character in Version 5.2, providing players with a another method to explore the new area without utilising the Saurian form. Although it hasn't been confirmed, it's quite likely that Ororon's appearance in Version 5.2 will usher in the territory occupied by the Masters of the Night-Wind.

Uncle Teyvat already leaked a new geographical map that gives players of Genshin Impact a more thorough idea of what to expect from future updates, but it also hinted the next Natlan zones. Though the tribe's precise position is still unknown, it is almost a given that the Collective of Plenty will have its fair desserts when the map spreads towards the Great Volcano of Tollan. Interestingly, an island nested between Tollan and Ochkanatlan—possibly the location of the Collective of Plenty—will also be present in Natlan in Genshin Impact. But Jelena's most interesting finding may be a lone isle off in the far west that can only be the Mare Jivari.

Since Version 1.0, the Mare Jivari has been a part of Genshin Impact's mythos, and players have long been curious about it. Mare Jivari, Teyvat's westernmost point, is described as a sea of ashes where the wind does not blow and is thought to hold a sea of fire. The Mare Jivari is located distant from Ochkanatlan on Jelena's shared map, suggesting that players will probably need to take the Waverider to get there. Gamers should anticipate Mare Jivari to be the last zone introduced to the area before Snezhnaya if Natlan follows Fontaine's pattern.

Leaks should always be treated with caution, but it looks like Natlan will be larger than Fontaine or Sumeru. That being said, Genshin Impact's open world will expand significantly during the Natlan era if the rumours of a Mondstadt map expansion prove to be accurate. Even though Version 5.2 won't be available until 20th November, 2024, following 9th October, 2024, players can anticipate learning more details about the impending Natlan zones.
