One of the hardest-to-get Pokemon in the game, PhD Pikachu, simply runs away when players throw a Poke Ball at it due to a Pokemon GO problem. This makes it impossible for players to capture Pikachu. This encounter should be assured because it's connected to a Pokemon GO achievement, which is also called as a Medal in the game. However, some players aren't able to catch the Pokemon at all.
Pokemon GO's PokeStop Showcases were first included in the 7th Anniversary Event, and since then, the feature has gained a lot of traction. Players can compete with others and display their unique Pokemon in PokeStop Showcases, where they can also win some very valuable prizes. PokeStop Showcases might be challenging to win in certain instances because many players compete for the top slots. But it appears that a vexing glitch is interfering with the game's feature.
User FitzRigo18 has disclosed an irritating bug that players have been encountering recently in the Pokemon GO game in a new post on the subreddit. They claim that as of as now, gamers cannot capture PhD Pikachu in Pokemon GO because it will always run away when they attempt to toss a Poke Ball at it. Worse, even though the Pokemon is not caught because of the bug, any berries or Poke Balls used in the process are completely lost. The user continues, saying that they were frustrated by the problem because they had been excitedly anticipating catching the Pokemon for some time, given how difficult the goal is.
How To Obtain A PhD In Pokemon GO Pikachu
Because it is so hard to obtain, PhD Pikachu is one of the rarest Pokemon in Pokemon GO. To obtain the Pokemon, players must win 100 PokeStop Showcases, and reaching that milestone may take some time. Players must compete with one another to win PokeStop Showcases, which are only hosted on certain days of the week.
While some players pointed out that they were thinking of delaying obtaining the award until the glitch is repaired, others emphasized that the encounter persists. Many players are expecting that this bug will be fixed in the upcoming Pokemon GO update and that they will finally receive their well-earned rewards after reporting this issue to Niantic support.
