Recently, a few Concord owners have resorted to social media to complain that they are having trouble getting the promised refunds from PlayStation. It seems that only a small portion of Concord's buyers are complaining.

Less than a week after its smooth launch, on 3rd September, Sony's live-service hero shooter revealed it was closing. At the time, Firewalk Studios promised that all Concord buyers will receive a complete refund.

According To Reports, Some US Retailers Haven't Refunded Concord Yet.

And even though the refunds have been going since then, it seems like some people are still having problems getting them. One such account was just posted on Reddit by user Waltmathews, who said that when they attempted to return their physical copy of Concord at their neighborhood GameStop, they were told to phone the company's customer service, who then sent them in the direction of the actual store. After that, Reddit user Azryel_sXe said that they had gone through the same back and forth with Target and that, as of 5th September, they were unable to get a refund for the game.

According To Reports, Until Of 4th September, GameStop Lacked A Company-Wide Policy Regarding Concord Refunds.

It seems that none of these problems is a reflection of a national trend; plenty of social media posts have been made by PS5 owners who were able to get their physical game copies returned. A purported GameStop employee recently posted on Reddit that as of 4th September, the store still lacked a corporate policy regarding Concord refunds. This could have led to early misunderstandings about the proper handling of returns, which could have resulted in circumstances similar to what Waltmathews had described.

It is therefore recommended that anyone who has had trouble returning the physical copy of the game try again in the coming days. It could also be a good idea to call customer support from a business that is refusing refunds. This would give CS agents and store staff a chance to work things out amicably. This is exclusive to the game's physical copy, which was only made available on the PS5. The majority of PC users who purchased Concord ought to have received automatic refunds from Steam and the Epic Games Store by now.
