The legendary PPSh-41 SMG from earlier Call of Duty games has been requested by fans to make a comeback in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta. This Soviet-era SMG is well-known to Call of Duty fans from Treyarch's Black Ops 6 games, World at War (2008) and Black Ops Cold War (2020).

Some of the most beloved Call of Duty franchise elements from Black Ops 1 and 2, including the classic Prestige system and round-based zombies, will return in Black Ops 6.In multiplayer, players can advance through the ranks and try for the coveted Prestige Master title. Additionally, Black Ops 6's Theater Mode, which is back, lets players watch replays and battles to see how they recently fared. Some fans wish the PPSh-41 SMG was playable in Black Ops 6 because they believe it would provide additional references to earlier Treyarch-developed games.

The "legendary" PPSh-41 SMG should return in Black Ops 6, according to Reddit user benmetalhead, who plans to utilise it in conjunction with the game's omnidirectional movement system. Benmetalhead would also like to utilise the weapon on the Black Ops 6 rendition of Nuketown, a popular map in the franchise known for promoting nonstop close-quarters gunfights. Similar sentiments are expressed by several Call of Duty enthusiasts on the Black Ops 6 subreddit, where some relate stories of their enjoyable times using the SMG in Vanguard, Black Ops Cold War, and World at War.

While it's highly unlikely that the PPSh-41 will be available on launch day, Black Ops 6 players may anticipate a selection of SMGs. Additionally, during the forthcoming open beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, gamers will be able to test out a few of the game's weapons in online multiplayer modes. All platforms will host the Black Ops 6 early access beta from 30th August to 4th September, and then from 6th September to 9th September, all gamers can participate in the open beta. Players who pre-order Black Ops 6 digitally are eligible for early access to the beta, and Xfinity Rewards members can also get a beta code for free.

On 20th August, Black Ops 6 will be revealed in further detail during Gamescom Opening Night Live. Additionally, Call of Duty enthusiasts won't have to wait much longer for another update because on 28th August, information regarding Black Ops 6 and upcoming Warzone improvements is anticipated to be revealed during the Call of Duty NEXT event. Players of Black Ops 6 may anticipate a year of updates and support following the game's 25th October debut, which may include the return of beloved weaponry and maps from previous iterations.
