For the PS4 and PS5, Disney Dreamlight Valley is finally introducing cross-platform play. The upcoming Dapper Delights update for Disney Dreamlight Valley will include this significant enhancement.

Since its debut in Disney Dreamlight Valley's The Pumpkin King Returns update in December 2023, multiplayer has been a feature of Gameloft's well-liked life simulation. Since then, players have had the opportunity to explore other people's virtual worlds; however, playstation users were restricted to only accessing peer-only valleys within the sony network.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Cross Platform Gaming Will Launch On 21st August For PlayStation

With the release of the Disney Dreamlight Valley Dapper Delights upgrade, this restriction will soon be removed. Cross-platform play for the PS4 and PS5 will be included in the next patch, putting the PlayStation version of the game on level with its other counterparts. Although the precise release timing of Dapper Delights has not yet been disclosed, it is expected to arrive on Wednesday, 21st August.

Cross-platform play will only increase the number of valleys that are accessible to all players, without altering the mechanics of starting Disney Dreamlight Valley's multiplayer mode. In order to participate in the game's multiplayer mode, players must first unlock Vanellope. After that, the player will be given a task named Valley Visits by the Wreck-It Ralph protagonist. The quest begins with the player receiving the KL-1200 Valley Visit Station from her. Use the Furniture option to arrange this décor piece in any outdoor area in the Valley. By doing this, you can play multiplayer games and finish Vanellope's goal.

Disney Dreamlight Valley's Multiplayer Still Has Quite Few Options

The conversation on social media about this impending transition seems to be divided between modest enthusiasm and disinterest. Although the option of being able to visit even more players is generally a good thing, multiplayer in Disney Dreamlight Valley isn't precisely one of the most well-liked aspects of the game. This is mostly due to the mode's lackluster functionality, which essentially limits you to exploring other people's virtual worlds. Because of this, the majority of transactions involving Disney Dreamlight Valley items take place in multiplayer these days.
