The adept marksman Hailey, the next new Descendant for The First Descendant, will be added at the beginning of Season 1, according to information released by Nexon Games. Along with a ton of new content, The First Descendant's first season will include the game's debut episode, "Invasion."

After the game's 2nd July launch, The First Descendant got several post-launch updates during the pre-season. The Nexon Games development team has concentrated on applying bug patches, modifying weapon balance, and responding to player comments received after launch. As the game gets closer to its Season 1 launch later this month, further updates are probably in the works. Additionally, there is still plenty of time for players of The First Descendant to provide feedback to the developers regarding the game's pre-season.

Descendant Hailey will make her debut in The First Descendant Season 1: Invasion on 29th August, according to a new trailer released by Nexon Games. The teaser features gameplay clips of Hailey in action with her powerful sniper rifle in addition to some dramatic scenes featuring her. In addition to the main plot continuing in Episode: Invasion with the first update for Season 1, First Descendant players will get additional information about the new playable sniper in a special Descendant story. However, Nexon Games has not yet disclosed any more information regarding the plot of the first season.

According to the game's previously published roadmap, The First Descendant Season 1 will also include new dungeons, a new Ultimate Descendant, new weapons, and skins. There will also be a new seasonal Battle Pass. To celebrate the release of the Season 1 update, players can now anticipate receiving additional free goodies in The First Descendant. Three significant upgrades containing all of the Season 1 content will be released prior to the start of Season 2 in early December of this year. The schedule for Seasons 1 and 2, however, could alter, thus material releases could be a little off. Players of The First Descendant will, at minimum, have a ton of content to work through until Season 3 drops in early 2025
