During this free event, players can use a Charge TM to assist Shadow Pokemon forget about the Charged Attack Frustration and make up to five Special Trades per day. A brand-new Pikachu with an event theme will appear alongside the timed incentives. It will be decked out in a diving costume and snorkel. Also, Mienfoo, the fighting Pokemon, will be easier to find. Players will get the opportunity to encounter a rare shiny form of both monsters, which will be accessible in one-star raids and through event research missions.

There will be a paid component to the Pokemon GO 2024 World Championships festivities in addition to the free ones. Trainers can choose to purchase a $5 timed research ticket, which entitles them to 25,000 extra stardust, a premium remote raid pass, and the opportunity to battle Pokemon with event themes like Azumarill, Vigoroth, and Cresselia.
