Season 5, often known as the Season of the Infernal Hordes, will begin in Diablo 4 on 6th August at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Along with the start date announcement, Blizzard provided a preview of new features, rewards, and threats that players can anticipate in Sanctuary for Diablo 4.
Blizzard stated prior to Diablo 4's release that the game will be episodic, with several months separating each season. Diablo 4's first season, Season of the Malignant, debuted in July of last year. The second season followed in October of the same year. Diablo 4's Season 3 was released in January of this year, and its highly anticipated Season 4 is scheduled to launch in May. Players of Diablo 4 are now focusing on the upcoming part of the game.
The fifth season of Diablo 4 will launch on 6th August at 10 a.m. PT, according to Blizzard. One of the major additions is the new seasonal questline, "Of Lambs and Wolves," and the questline "The Eyes of the Enemy," both of which will be accessible in both Seasonal and Eternal Realms. These questlines are titled "Season of Infernal Hordes." Infernal Hordes, a new mode for Diablo 4, is another addition. It will be playable in both worlds starting at World Tier 3. In this mode, players will fight waves of monsters for 60 seconds. If they make it through the waves and beat the Fell Council, a new group of five adversaries made up of former Zakarum High Council members, they will receive rewards.
All of Diablo 4's unique items received modifications, according to Blizzard, since the developers "wanted to make them special again." However, they withheld any other information regarding the planned redesign. Beyond the conclusion of the current season, Diablo 4 will have over 50 items that can be found in both realms, including new Legendaries and Uniques. In the upcoming battle pass, Diablo 4 players will be able to obtain additional Legendary Aspects, Favor, and three Amnesia Scrolls—each of which offers a complimentary reset of the Paragon Board and Skill Tree.
