The $300,000 international Counter-Strike 2 esports competition, which featured 11 teams from across the world and was held at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai from 23rd July to 28th,has come to an end. Skyesports, a leading worldwide IP and community creator for gaming and esports, organised the event. In an unexpectedly one-sided championship match, 3DMAX defeated The Mongolz 2-0 following a fierce group stage and playoffs, and emerged as the champion.

The top player for 3DMAX, Bryan "Maka" Canda, expressed his gratitude for the win by saying, "I would like to thank every fan from France who has been watching us at any time." Additionally, I want to thank everyone who supported us with their cheers”.

The route to the trophy wasn't simple for 3DMAX. Group B players were drawn to play the Russian team Amkal Esports in their opening match of the competition. With a final score of 16–14, the French players emerged victorious in overtime. In order to finish second in their group, they had to overcome Eternal Fire in an extra match despite winning their other matches.

They were considered the underdogs going into the Quarterfinals. Even so, they advanced through the Playoffs bracket, winning the event and the majority of the $300,000 prize fund with decisive wins over ENCE, Aurora Esports, and The Mongolz.

In response to the competition, Shiva Nandy, the founder and CEO of Skyesports, stated, "Our goal of creating globally recognized IPs from India was affirmed by the engagement to the Skyesports Championship 2024, with more than 5 million views and a peak concurrent viewership of more than 47,600 across Hindi, English, Mongolia, French, Russian, Turkish, and Polish languages." To all the teams that travelled to India to participate in the tournament, I would like to express my gratitude and congratulate 3DMAX on their success.
