Which factions have canonically finished every dungeon and raid between Mists of Pandaria and Shadowlands has been detailed in World of Warcraft Chronicle Volume 4. Fans now know which World of Warcraft factions are in charge of eliminating the majority of in-game instances when they combine information from earlier volumes with this new knowledge.

The Chronicle lore book has been released by World of Warcraft for the first time in six years. Beginning on July 16 and covering data from five expansions—Mists of Pandaria, Warlords of Draenor, Legion, Battle for Azeroth, and Shadowlands—World of Warcraft Chronicle Volume 4 continues where its predecessor left off.

Even if the new book offers a number of intriguing lore nuggets, one particular fact makes the story of World of Warcraft come together. Even while both factions can access the majority of World of Warcraft's dungeons and raids, several are canonically cleared by either the Alliance or the Horde. Chronicle Volume 4 examined every instance that was added starting with Mists of Pandaria and classified them according to whether one faction or both completed them. Wowhead revealed these details, which, when paired with related details from Chronicle Volume 3 concerning Classic, Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, and Cataclysm, reveal which side conquered the hardest raid bosses and dungeons in the World of Warcraft universe.

Every expansion released up until Dragonflight has been covered as of this new lore book. Given that World of Warcraft: Dragonflight was all about the factions uniting, it is reasonable to assume that adventurers from both the Alliance and Horde collaborated to defeat all of the game's instances. Despite the fact that there is no official record of who cleared the dungeons and raids in Dragonflight, cross-faction play was introduced just before the expansion.

World of Warcraft Chronicle Volume 4 had some drawbacks, despite the fact that fans loved the amazing new artwork and learning which forces were in charge of eliminating these instances. A large portion of the book adds no new information while summarising the game's events. Some sections jumble the events in a confusing fashion. For instance, in Battle for Azeroth, the entire Alliance campaign starts before the Horde campaign does, even though in the game, Talanji's jailbreak is what triggers Jaina's return to Kul Tiras. Many fans were not entirely satisfied with Chronicle Volume 4, even if it was not as troublesome as the racist tropes featured in World of Warcraft publications like The Dragonflight Codex or Exploring Azeroth: Kalimdor. With its October 1 release date, the book Exploring Azeroth: Islands & Isles should be able to steer clear of these difficulties.
