For fans of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, 24th July is a big day since it marks the return of the Fantasy Battle Royale mode. First released in 2020, this mode will be accessible on PC from 24th July to 7th August  and on consoles from 31st July to 14th August. A distinct take on the classic PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds gameplay, Fantasy Battle Royale lets users battle for supremacy while immersed in a magical world.

Playable without cost Update 30.2, which was just released for PUBG, brought about a number of changes to the game. Important tactical equipment like the All-In-One Repair Kit, EMT Gear, and Tactical Pack have returned with changes. These include a three usage restriction for the All-In-One Repair Kit, fewer healing and revival times for EMT Gear, and more attachment slots for the Tactical Pack. Exclusive in-game containers and vehicle skins were made available through a partnership with Automobili Lamborghini, and the new Clan System lowered the need of 4,500 BP to form a clan. A ton of bug fixes and other improvements were made to improve the user experience, and 2D Replay was included for in-depth match reviews.

The well-liked Fantasy Battle Royale mode, which offers a distinctive battle royale experience with four different classes—Barbaran, Ranger, Wizard, and Paladin—has now made a comeback, according to PUBG. To refresh your memory, the classes are as follows: the Wizard can destroy enemies with fire spells; the Paladin plays a supportive role by healing and assisting teammates; the Barbarian dominates in close-quarters battles with a longsword; and the Ranger concentrates on precision attacks from a distance with the Dragonslayer crossbow. In this mode, teams of four players will battle it out on Dragon's Isle (Erangel), with matches holding up to 80 players.

How much time will it take to access the Fantasy Battle Royale mode?

Fans who loved the Fantasy Battle Royale mode when it first launched and have been waiting for its return are probably going to be happy to see it again. It's also important to remember that this rebirth comes after the original Erangel map, which included iconic in-game elements, was reintroduced in May.

PUBG's dedication to its 2024 timeline, which calls for combat updates every two months, is seen in these current patches. The studio is also making further efforts to improve the gaming experience. For instance, in March, PUBG revealed that 3.2 million cheaters had been banned in 2023—a 33% increase from the previous year.
