Five titles will be removed from Xbox Game Pass on 15th July, according to a statement from Microsoft. Xbox gaming Pass is still a great option for those who enjoy exploring new gaming genres and finding new titles that they might not have otherwise discovered, even though some games are periodically rotated out of service.

For Xbox Game Pass customers, 2024 has already proven to be a significant year. In recent months, the service has added notable titles like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, The Callisto Protocol, and Octopath Traveler 2. Activision Blizzard's acquisition by Xbox also led to the release of Diablo 4 and the first-ever Game Pass launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Activision fans are still waiting impatiently for their favourite publisher's back catalogue to be included in the Game Pass. This includes titles from lesser-known properties like Prototype and the Transformers series, as well as older Call of Duty games, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.

Five titles were revealed to be departing Xbox Game Pass on 15th July  in the most recent Xbox Wire article outlining everything new for the program this month. Before they are rotated out to make room for new titles, Game Pass subscribers will have two weeks to download and play TOEM, The Wandering Village, Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly, and Figment 2: Creed Valley. Xbox stated that if gamers want to keep playing these games, they can buy them at a 20% discount.

The most well-known of the lot is perhaps the photography adventure game TOEM, in which players must solve puzzles based on snapshots while exploring a world that is only available in black and white. Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus and Butterfly, the sequel to the first critically acclaimed visual novel, is a game that has a similar homey atmosphere. There are still plenty of highly anticipated games this month for Game Pass customers who are unhappy that these five exclusive titles will be departing the service on 15th July.. The action Soulslike Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn and the independent social sim action RPG mashup Dungeons of Hinterberg will be offered to the service as day-one releases just three days later, on 18th July. Additionally, on 19th July, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, the newest game from Capcom, will be available on Xbox Game Pass.
