The release date of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is set for 18th September, 2024, according to Capcom. Many fans have been anticipating playing Dead Rising with a more contemporary engine and aesthetic ever since it was revealed that the game would be restored. The impending game might be able to revive the franchise.

The previous Dead Rising game was released more than eight years ago. Sadly, Dead Rising 4 fell short of what the first two games had promised. Given that a lot of fans prefer the previous games in the series, Capcom might be paying attention to the demand and going back to the original game's remaster.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will be available digitally for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC on 18th September, 2024, as revealed during Capcom Next's digital showcase. There will be a tangible version available in November 2024. Additionally, it will be released in two editions: the Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition, the latter of which includes additional BGMs and Frank's costumes. Among other things, the new game will include enhanced controls, some auto-save capabilities, and the ability to move while aiming. Dead Rising is regarded by many players as one of the most inventive games ever made, therefore updating it for today's systems with a new aesthetic and better features would make it stand out once more.

Furthermore, since every NPC and survivor interaction in the franchise has been completely voiced, older players who have played the earlier games in the series may be in for a treat. Even Frank West himself now has a new actor. Some fans are looking for the introduction of fresh conversations and further development of the main plot. In order to give Dead Rising 3 characters a more complex past, many are expecting that they will be retconned for Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. The fan base's straightforward ideas, like altering the orphan names, could help connect the restored first title to the others.

Given that many people believe the first Dead Rising to be the finest in the series, Capcom appears to be doing the fans a favour by remastering and releasing the original game. Granted, it nearly feels like a remake with the new features that have been revealed. For the PS4 and Xbox One, a prior collection of the first two games plus the Dead Rising 2 spin-off Off The Record were released in 2016, however these were merely ports. A lot of fans are hopeful that the Deluxe Remaster will be successful, since that might mean that the other titles will soon get new looks as well.
