After a brief hiatus to prevent it from competing with Hades 2, the Rogue Prince of Persia has now been released. The new Prince of Persia game, which is being developed by the same team as Dead Cells, aims to emulate a similar gaming experience with fluid traversal motions and "tight-feeling controls" that enable players to execute a variety of death-defying stunts on the fly.
The Outlaw Prince of Persia replaces it as one of the best rogue-like games available in early access. Alongside the permanent death element, there is a difficulty ceiling that requires some getting accustomed to. Nothing, though, seems to be throwing an impossibility at you in this game.
Having said that, it is not as simple as it seems to go to the capital city and halt the Hun invasion. You will have to become acquainted with all of the tools, opponents, and weaponry. Here are some pointers and strategies to help you accomplish that aim more easily.
The Oasis, the primary player center in The Rogue Prince of Persia, is where you wake up after every death. Since the game is rogue-like, each time you die, you have to restart from scratch. However, that's not as bad as it seems.
You may learn about and make all of the game's weaponry, tools, and medallions by visiting various vendors in the Oasis. As a result, you can make more stuff to get stronger in your next run the more times you die.
In The Rogue Prince of Persia, there are no timers or clocks to beat, so avoid trying to hurry through each level. Allocate ample time to thoroughly examine the map, uncover all the mysteries, and plunder each box. This will help you become ready as much as possible for the boss fights, which are challenging in the end.
Similarly, one of Dead Cells' most crucial battle advices is to avoid being The Rogue Prince of Persia's obsessive button-masher. That might be effective against first-stage opponents, but second- and later-stage opponents have far quicker reactions. If you try to jump several foes without a plan, you will incur damage.
There are always alternative strategies to deal with adversaries than just slicing away at them with your weaponry. If there are several adversaries on the same platform, you could want to kick them off the ledge. Enemies sustain a lot of fall damage. In order to kill them, you can also kick them into spikes or traps. Compared to using your weapons, this is substantially faster.
There are more ways to view the map in The Rogue Prince of Persia besides interacting with a Well of Dreams. Alternatively, you can use your DualSense controller or keyboard to open the map by clicking the Create or Tab buttons, respectively.
If you have passed close to any points of interest, the map will display them all. If you wish to return for missing treasure boxes, purchase goods from vendors, enter secret areas, etc., this aids in navigating each level.
