The first day of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 Round 2 is now over, and Carnival Gaming's experienced team won handily. A few young teams with strong performances were Chemin Esports, Bot Army Esports, and Inspiration Esports. In BGIS 2024, Carnival Gaming became the first team to win three consecutive chicken dinners. 

512 teams will compete in the BGIS 2024 Round 2 in an effort to advance to the Round 3.

Summary of BGIS 2024 Round 2 Group 1 Match 

Inspiration Esports won the first Erangel match with a 17-point chicken meal. With 13 points, Sign To Gods finished in second place. Carnival Gaming, which scored 11 points, nine of which were from finishes, and placed third with aggressive gameplay. With five finishes, Carnival Gaming's Sahil "Omega" Jakhar was named the match's Most Valuable Player (MVP). Heroes Gaming and Bot Army Esports, with respective scores of 10 and 9, came in fourth and fifth.

Carnival Gaming secured a 24 point victory in the second match at Miramar. With six finishes, Carnival Gaming's Naman "Neyo" was named the game's Most Valuable Player (MVP). Chemin Esports finished in second place with 11 points, 9 of which came from finishes, and aggressive performance. With nine points, Sign To Gods came in third place. With seven points apiece, Teams 7 Eleven and DC finished fourth and fifth, respectively. With zero points, Kinetic Esports was eliminated early on.

Sanhok, match three: Carnival Gaming scored 15 points to win consecutive chicken dinners. With 16 points from the match, 12 of which came from finishes, the Chosen 4 emerged victorious. With seven finishes, Osiris from The Chosen 4 was the match's MVP. Bot Army Esports scored 14 points, good for third place. Lethal Warriors and Chemin Esports, with respective scores of 9 and 8, finished fourth and fifth. With just one point apiece, Inspiration Esports and Royal Emperor WH were eliminated early.

Match 4 Miramar: With 23 points, Carnival Gaming won their third consecutive chicken feast. With seven finishes, Carnival Gaming's Naman "Neyo" earned the match's MVP. Chemin Esports earned 15 points, 12 of which came from finishes, and came in second. After a strong comeback, Inspiration Esports finished third with 14 points. With scores of 9 and 7, respectively, Team 7 Eleven and The Chosen 4 came in fourth and fifth, respectively. With only one point, Team Galaxy was eliminated early.

With 18 points in the fifth Sanhok match, Heroes Gaming pulled off a stunning comeback victory. After a strong comeback, Big Boi Esports finished second with 17 points, 11 of which came from finishes. With six solo finishes, Big Boi Esports' GoodBoi was the match's MVP. Third-place Royal Emperor WH scored 15 points, 12 of which came from finishes. With 10 points, Inspiration Esports finished in fourth place. With 9 points, The Chosen 4 finished in fifth place.

Chemin Esports won a 25-point chicken meal in Match 6 Erangel. With six finishes, Chemin Esports' Venom earned the match's MVP. With 14 points, Royal Emperor WH finished in second place. Bot Army Esports received 11 points and finished third. With 10 points and a fourth-place finish, Carnival Gaming maintained its strong performance. With nine points, Sign To Gods came in fifth. With one point apiece, TeamDC and The Chosen 4 were eliminated.
