Since its release, Helldivers 2 has continuously added new and intriguing Stratagems to the game, offering players more options for taking on their foes. The game debuted with a wide selection of Stratagems and Support weaponry. For many, the best Support Weapon in Helldivers 2 is the Quasar Cannon, which essentially functions as an EAT-17 with an infinite supply of ammunition. What more could you ask for? It will take out Hulks and Chargers in one shot.

This weapon is still essential for any high-level assignment, even with its recharge time reduced from 10 to 15 seconds between rounds and its 3-second charge-up time for each shot. It needs a balanced loadout to survive and clear the way to taking out those big targets because of its lengthy recharge time and laser-like focus on providing massive damage to a single target. The top loadouts for taking down Automatons and Terminids will be covered in this tutorial, enabling the Quasar Cannon to perform at its peak.

The Quasar Cannon is a superb tool for dealing severe damage to Bile Titans and taking out problematic Chargers and Brood Commanders with one shot. It is particularly efficient against some of the most hazardous bugs you'll meet when fighting on the eastern front. But the remainder of the Terminid forces, with their legions of fodder and obnoxious units like the nightmare-inducing Stalkers, tend to overwhelm. The ideal loadout to support the Quasar Cannon's unique power against the Terminid threat can be found below.

Top Primary Weapons: Incendiary Breaker and the Blitzer Shotgun

Blitzer Shotgun: This weapon works incredibly well with the Quasar Cannon to control crowds better while taking down the lesser Terminid foes you'll face. Although it lacks the Punisher's halting and stagger capabilities, it nevertheless performs admirably at eliminating the lesser bugs and even provides certain medium units with some mild stagger. With unrestricted ammunition, no need for reloading, and the capacity to attack numerous targets simultaneously with its arc, this shotgun is an excellent choice for hit-and-run maneuvers.

Breaker Incendiary: The game's DOT bug has long affected the Breaker Incendiary, but with the May 7 patch fixing it, the Breaker Incendiary is resurfacing as a formidable opponent of Terminids. It's great at spraying over a big number of bugs and then backing up to let the fire DOT do its job, but it lacks the 'hold down the trigger to unleash hell' characteristic that the Spray & Pray delivers. You can even use fire to deliver some serious damage to Brood Commanders and Chargers because it doesn't affect armor; however, you'll need to hit their more fleshy areas because their thicker armor will still deflect the pellets.

Grenade pistols are the best secondary weapon

Although the Grenade Pistol gives you excellent, rapid explosive damage, its main strength is its practicality. The main advantage of this option is that it will provide you more options for your Grenade (more on that later). Your Grenade slot will be freed up for something even more useful to deal with waves of Terminids when you use the Grenade Pistol as your bug hole closure.

Stun grenade is the ideal grenade option

When used with the Quasar Cannon, the Stun Grenade is the ideal weapon. Need to get some distance from someone who is pursuing you hungry? Drop a stun grenade, then move back to a more advantageous location. Facing a determined Charger and having trouble getting the death shot in? After dropping a stun grenade on it, charge up and destroy its face. Because the stun grenade is so good at keeping you alive, you can concentrate on your main objective, which is to take out the biggest and baddest opponents on the map.
